Don Arvold is the owner/operator of Ace Helicopters, LLC. Click Read More for Don's pro Donald Arvold, the owner/operator of Ace Helicopters, has been flying since 1978. He grew up flying right seat with his parents who are both instrument rated. He expanded his flying career to include helicopters in 2000, when he purchased an unfinished Rotorway helicopter. This is where the addiction began.  He finished building the Rotorway and obtained his private helicopter license using it.  He then moved onto the Robinson R44 helicopter and earned his commercial helicopter rating and CFI rating. (Certified Flight Instructor) Don also carries a private fixed wing rating. Some of the flying experience he has includes air rides, skydivers, crop dusting, instructing, surveying, search and rescue, aerial photography and videography.
